well I think all of this you know when we and Jamie I remember you when you played so it's like you know trust me I am old yes I am you know back to the thing of the current athletes it's like I think when we were in college a lot of us we didn't at least me, I'll speak for me, you didn't really take advantage of or really even understand the larger impact, right? And so being able to bring the student athletes into this and meet some of the people, not just the athletes who are there, but the people in the community, that there's a lot going on outside of our little world of athletics.

that we and even them at an 18, 19, 20-year-old age could have an impact on.

So, you know, I think the composition of that house is going to be fun.

Well, a real quick story on the house and basketball.

Um, tell me about these returning arms and what you've seen out of these guys as far as growth from, from year over year.

Yeah, well, you know, probably since the first time since we've been here, we feel like we have a, a lot more depth, um, across that staff.

We would lean-- The first few years we're leaning pretty heavily on, you know, one or two arms, and consequently down the stretch, guys would just, you know, peter out and not their fault.

And, but I do like the, the depth.

Tate Carey, you mentioned him off the bat, I mean, had a, you know, a freshman for us last year and as always like you're gonna get what you earn in my program and, and he just kept doing it, doing it, and eventually became probably our most consistent dominant starter, um, rewarded with, for what it's worth, preseason, you know, Big Ten Pitcher of the Year.

But again, you do that on the, you do that on the mound, you don't do it in the newspapers.

Um, but Kurt Barr's been a steady guy for us.

I know you've got Jonathan Kim also in that outfield mix, but, uh, some of these transfers that you brought in, you know, uh, Brendan Stressler from St. Louis and, uh, Evan Hager from Houston, I assume these are gonna be faces that, that Michigan fans are, are gonna learn pretty quickly.
