Um, in Idaho, what is something that is, uh, maybe a challenge for athletic trainers or for the organization?

You know, I, I think the, the biggest piece for us is, um, the rural nature of Idaho.

Um, and so that, that means that not only do people have less access to, um, regular providers, uh, but also, uh, athletic trainers.

So it's, it's a financial piece I know for the school districts.

They s- they struggle with access to things like that, um, and it's financially difficult for them to have a full-time athletic trainer in the schools.

I, I know there's some areas that have, um, an athletic trainer they hire, but it's for the district.

Um, and so that athletic trainer will visit, you know, different, um, schools throughout the week and, and, um, you know, pick a football game or two to, to go to.

Is there anything that you guys as the leadership in I- Idaho are working on as far as, like, legislation or practice act or anything like that?

So to kick things off as we usually do, and I hope it won't be too painful for you, can you share with us your journey with ME over the past 19 years and the impact it's had on your daily life and wellbeing?

Sure.

So before getting to severe ME, uh, I had a very active life.

I loved playing sports.

I was often outdoors.

I loved spending time with my family, and I had a career that I loved.

I was an accountant.

ME.

So yeah, those things are definitely worth a splurge.

Okay, well, I'm going to jump in with one splurge that I'm particularly enjoying researching and slightly different, and that is when people come to the UK, they want to have an afternoon tea.

So I've been really taking one for the team here and doing some extensive research into some of the best afternoon teas all over the UK.

And I can tell you there's some very expensive ones, but generally they're really good.

Now, I do have an article on my website which kind of goes into which ones I prefer.

But I think that can be a splurge for people.

And we kind of do ask if people want to do a traditional afternoon tea or they want to have a themed afternoon tea because they've got different varieties that you can try out.

So just because it's not a private tour doesn't mean that it's not a great option as well.
