I started out there, you know, and, and I love the art form of posing and really presenting your physique in the best light, showing all your strengths, hiding your weaknesses, 'cause it's all an illusion.
24:56
It's just how you present it, you know? You could have a better physique than me, but if I know how to present mine better, I beat you because I know how to showcase it all, showcase it better than you do, and that's why it's such an art form that I think people don't recognize.
25:10
And a lot of times the guys on stage don't even know it.
25:13
They don't even know how to...
25:14
I'm looking at them like, "Man, you have such a great physique.
25:18
You're just not presenting it well." And so posing became really a, a part of it, and once this Men's Physique came out, it changed up my training to where now you wanted more recovery to train your shoulders more, your chest more, and your back more 'cause the, and your abs, because those are the body parts that really create this symmetry that you're looking to have, wide shoulders, small waist, and your legs don't need to be too pronounced.
26:49
[laughs]
3:36
And this is one case where what happens in Vegas is not going to stay in Vegas.
3:41
Right.
3:44
I love it.
3:44
I love it.
3:45
So the Mr. Olympia is typically held in Las Vegas.
3:50
It has been for probably more than a decade.
3:53
It moved to Orlando one time during 2020, but it's typically been in Las Vegas.

18:50
Olympia?
8:33
When you started in a gym and when people said that you wanted to build this pro-level physique, did you always have – You know, did you always have this vision of being on stage and bodybuilding?
8:46
So I think when I started to read the magazines and go into the shows, I was inspired by them.
8:52
And I said, yeah, I definitely want to compete.
8:55
But I got into doing track and field in high school around my junior year.
9:03
And I started, you know, hanging out with the people that go out a lot.
9:09
You know, I was doing a lot of partying and, you know, starting to get noticed because I was one of those, you know, since I was already picked on, I started hanging with a crowd when I was younger that were the Marilyn Manson crowd.
9:25
You remember Marilyn Manson? I listened to Marilyn Manson.

11 MINS LATER

20:53
What do you see when people hear this show or hear this, what do you see the biggest mistakes that vegans make when they first jump in to try and gain muscle and to get the calories and And are they eating too much processed food? Are they not enough strength training? If they want to gain weight, what are the mistakes? Well,
20:47
Let's start off with the nutrition piece.
20:52
You know, I really didn't start paying attention to nutrition.
20:58
I mean, I did when I was in high school because I started reading the magazines and I see how these guys eat, you know, and being vegan, because honestly, I didn't know vegan was, you know, because raising my environment you don't hear that terminology.
21:13
It's more like a white hippie thing.
21:14
You're like, what the heck is that? In Seventh-day Adventist world, it was vegetarian.
21:19
So once I really got involved into the lifestyle of being a Rasta, Rasta is where I really started to research, okay, if I'm gonna call myself a Rastafarian, I'm not that type of individual that wants to say it and not truly live it.
21:37
And so I said, let me say what Rastamando, And Arasta is all about Aital, eating from the earth.

20 MINS LATER

41:59
What have you found to be the most effective types of workouts? Is this like a bodybuilding split? How many days are you training? What is the mentality while training? Talk about all that.
