I actually so the zoo right now another one of my favorite toddler spots they have the Toronto Zoo if we have any listeners outside of the

DTA

they have like this like glow thing going on and I want to go without my children and in like Not that I didn't enjoy it when I was walking through it, but they do it at night and like that kind of stuff.

It's really cute.

I think the

Toronto Zoo does a really great job of catering to parents because they already cater to kids by having

animals.

This

is why they have the line and the thing when we go and see the Bears at the Toronto Zoo.

At 9 o'clock in the morning, Chris, 9 a.m., two and a half hours of sleep, back in the car.

Iron manned it and then walked around the Toronto Zoo all day.

Now, I come home from my trip to Toronto, and I see this hunk of shit truck that the whole weekend I was looking at GMC Sierras.

I was like, you know what? We're getting rid of this thing.

I wish I was, but no, it's true.

In fact, here's a clip from the Toronto Zoo featuring an adult cheetah named Bakari demonstrating all that yipping and churring.

OK, that is the most adorable sound I think I've ever heard a vicious predator make.

But, you know, Mango, this whole episode, we've been connecting our real cheetah facts to cheetah cultural facts.

got maple, whiskey and honey and lemon juice and soda.

And I didn't even know there was a bar at the Toronto Zoo, let alone a signature baby hippo cocktail.

But it all really was perfect for me personally.

And the entire zoo is licensed, too.

One of the Toronto Zoo's newest, and perhaps cutest, residents made her public debut today.

CTV's Mike Walker was there for the public introduction of Maple, Canada's only baby pygmy hippo.

This is what I was getting at.

Toronto Zoo has a sweet little baby pygmy hippo.

Their name is Maple.

Yep.

And while we can't actually hold on to the hippo because that would not be correct, we are the public and that is an animal that needs to live, laugh, and love in its own little sphere.

um i just want to go observe same it's also been

a minute since you've been at a toronto zoo yeah it has been like years i

want to see the red pandas the giraffes oh yeah the traps you know what the sea otters were cute too

So we worked out a time where I could come pick up the booklet.

So at that point in, I'm gonna say it was around 1975, he lived off of Sheppard Avenue East, and it was probably a little bit below the, the brand-new, um, Toronto Zoo and a little bit above Highway 401, which is the, the expressway.

But one thing that is very much different, uh, f- now compared to 1975 is, so now for people who know the area, that east of Toronto, now that's a very built-up area.

There's just, you know, mall, houses, streets, stores, just like everywhere else.

It was good.

I'm trying to think if I've ever even been to the Toronto Zoo.

Or if I have, I definitely don't remember it.

This was, I would say, a smaller zoo for sure.

And then you got to do three of the following.

Casa Loma, the Royal Ontario Museum, the City Cruise Toronto, the Toronto Zoo, or the Art Gallery of Ontario.

We should go to the

zoo next time.
