So I very much grew up as a video gamer, came of age in the 1990s and had a gaming PC that I was closer friends with than any other human being.

I spent a lot of time playing Doom and Quake and Half-Life and Starcraft and Warcraft and all that good stuff.

But when I got to college, which was in 2000, I came to the realization that I couldn't continue my obsessive hobby of video gaming and succeed at university.
