Tell us a little bit about that, and then let's talk about your honest approach to it.

Tonya PowersGUEST
As a matter of fact, there was, um, a little bit of a panel earlier today that was talking about it.

A- a- and I, and I love that we're all having conversations about it, but I think EDs, you know, economic developers that are in my role, when you're the feet on the ground, um, you can talk about it all day, right? But when you're in it and you're in this day in and day out, it's, y- you're really just doing the best you can every single day with trying to figure out how to handle, because the way you handle it with one person is not gonna be the way you handle it with another.

Um, and so I think when you come from a community that you're like, "Wow, this is a great place to live and grow up," and then you come back and you're looking at it from the standpoint of, you know, growing community, developing jobs, creating opportunities, um, again, it's what you think or what you thought versus the reality of it is two totally different things.
