And so they work together with Dakota County to figure out funding to help eradicate it on the private land.

Yeah, and so this came to my attention from one of my staff brought it up.

And, you know, we have a process in place at the Department of Ag for prohibited eradicate species.

We've done the same response in dealing with roundleaf bittersweet, dumblation toadflax in northwest Minnesota, palmer amaranth statewide, and a host of other high priority weeds that we do not want to establish in Minnesota.

And when this was brought up to me that MnDOT had found this, I put my team together on rounding up everybody we needed in sort of an incident command structure that we use that, you know, was really popularized in food safety, health types of areas.

And what it's allowed us to do is get all the players we need in one area of communication, for lack of a better way to describe it, so that we're not duplicating things.
