What's your style? And if someone was to ask, well, what makes Tommy Rees differently than some of the other candidates for a position or different quarterback coaches or different offensive coordinators, what would you say?

Yeah, I do want to start by saying we have a quarterback coach, Alex Van Pelt, who played in the league, who's been doing it for a long time.

He's done a great job with these guys.

You've seen the progression with a guy like Jack Strand where you know, Al's been with him since rookie mini camp and the development he's put forward.

But, you know, I think with the quarterbacks, it's like, I want to be relatable.

You know, I've not at this level, but been in their shoes.

So I understand what it means and what it feels like to be back there.

Can you take us through the full, thorough process that you guys have been going in since Tua came aboard and obviously you guys inherited Penix and then Cooper Rush in the room as well?

Why was that still a place you wanted to come back to as a coach and felt like could be good for you?

Yeah.

What a good question.

Because when I left one, I didn't know if I was going to coach and two, I was like, I'm sure as hell not coaching here.

So that was the, that was where I was.

Um, But similar to me going to Notre Dame in the first place, when Notre Dame calls you and wants you to coach there, you just do it.

You know what I mean? You just do it.

Like, was there a culture shock moment for you when you first got there?
