So
5:50
what do you think about that? We think very similarly, man.
5:55
The first thought I had was of liberation saying that, I have a defined horizon that nobody else does.
6:04
And that's freeing.
6:06
When you have your own picks, you're working through the balancing act of wins versus value add potential with your future draft capital.
6:18
And that's stressful, that dictates moves that you probably should or have to make.
6:25
And that's increased potential to make mistakes, right? And so you can set all of that aside and you can also act differently than the other 11 or 13 managers in your league.

So does that make him good or his use is good? Like that's kind of what I'm thinking.
2:02
My family-
2:03
My family's all really tight, and they all had football teams.
2:07
And in the mid-'90s, that's when the Jacksonville Jaguars were, like, awarded their franchise in, I think, 1993 or 1994.
2:17
And being the middle child, I was like, "You know what? I'm gonna pick them.
2:22
That's gonna be my team through thick and thin." Um, I'm a Jaguars fan now, and so it's, it's kinda cool being an NFL fan who's seen literally, I think, almost every single snap of, of my franchise's history.
2:38
Like, you can't do that if you're a Packers fan, unless you're 100 years old or whatever.
2:43
[laughs] But for my team, the Jaguars, like, yeah, it's easy to make fun of them, whatever, like Swamp Town and, and all that kinda stuff.

43:34
Mm-hmm
11:24
Is, is that kind of like a reasonable way to approach it?
11:26
All right.
11:26
So I'm not picking on Dynasty Daddy.
11:28
I think it serves a useful function.
11:31
It is a helpful thing for the space.
11:34
However, it is fundamentally flawed in its league analyzing, uh, in its warp calculations.
11:40
What it's essentially doing is it's saying, "Okay, you have this starting set of requirements," right? Let's just start to stack up the players that you have as they fit into those different buckets of requirements.
14:45
But how are you making up the points there is kind of what, what I'm getting at, right? Is the idea that you're elite enough at these other positions that you have, you know, enough points to cover the running back position? Or are you simply saying that be- because you have enough running backs, somebody will come out in the wash, [chuckles] you know, being able to fill that, that, you know, running back one or two spot?
