so many different works within the community, what do you feel is really pivotal for our community in particular to take forward? What do you think are the lessons um that we need to learn from and the different strategies that we need to implement in order to be successful in this new world that we're going into um

Tomar BehGUEST
so for me right i believe what we actually need to do better and um is to give reference I don't know if that's the right word but for example you know we need to actually know and celebrate our history right because I'm also still sometimes like just flabbergasted how could Marcus Garvey come and unite people where they didn't have no internet and all that stuff and we now can't even come together you know that's one thing so I think pivotal for our people is to learn, study our history, our culture and actually be proud doing that and coming together and creating more or less power through that because you have all these other communities that for example you know even if you just take ai for example that are teaching each other that are lifting each other up within the field and they have their groups and we need to do much more about that but i think as well the the pivotal foundation right is to actually engage and know our history be proud of what we've been or like part of people we have in our history and our own achievements as well so um one of the things as well i have been doing with my organization was i used to put on black history classes on for children and their parents and there's a big difference you know to understand as a child that for example You know, within the UK, there were African soldiers, doesn't matter in Africa or even here, West Indian soldiers that were actually fighting for the British Empire, for example.

Tomar BehGUEST
You know, and such statements as of, go back to your country or whatever, you know, they then hit differently because in the end of the day, back then, when their fathers or their father's fathers were fighting, they were part of this country.

Tomar BehGUEST
You know, why are so many, you know, the Southeast Asian people here? Why so many Nigerians here? It's because...

Tomar BehGUEST
english people came to our countries first right so i think that's one of the things and to see how this can actually get us together and us using combined power because we actually are quite powerful but we're just fragmented so i think it doesn't matter if it's ai or in any other field i think if we understand that we are much better together than, you know, not working together and much more benefits will happen for us.

And to transition from kind of AI to music kind of in between, what is your opinion on the world of AI and music in terms of AI generated music and then also kind of like the cloning of artists' voices and things like that? What is your opinion on where it is now? Any advice for any artists and where you think that it's going to go in terms of the music industry?
