30:22
So give us some behind-the-scenes stories on this one.
30:24
Yeah, that's another sculpt by Christian.
30:27
I'm going to say those words a lot.
30:29
So Christian is our in-house digital.
30:31
He started with us a few years ago, a local guy from the same town as our studio.
30:37
We actually were on like a countrywide search for an in-house digital artist and wound up finding a guy that was 0.6 miles away from the studio.
30:46
Wow.

46:48
We also see this one right over
23:21
Tom Spina Designs had made, let's point out that the costumes were all screen used except for the farm boy Luke, right?
23:29
Yes.
23:30
And this was, this was another interesting challenge.
23:33
And it, and it's probably another, you know, reason that they come to a studio like ours.
23:37
We're very familiar with movie costumes.
23:41
Um, we work with them every day.
23:43

We actually were on like a countrywide search for an in-house digital artist and wound up finding a guy that was 0.6 miles away from the studio and And he had to learn a bit on the job.
30:46
He was still, you know, getting his footing, but he learned so fast and he's so freaking talented.

30 MINS LATER

60:50
I think that works out very well.
29:49
was it later on in the second movie that they made some giant heads for close-ups and stuff?
29:53
Yes, in particular on the Mogwai.
29:56
And we worked on a giant Daffy and a giant Gizmo with the Rambo thing on his head and everything.
30:07
And if you don't mind jumping around, I mean, those two oversized mogwai...
30:12
So a normal mogwai is like, you know, less than 12 inches tall, right? Like 10 inches, something like that.
30:17
Really small, really limited on what you can get in there.
30:22
And in fact, on both films, they used swap-out faces so that they could have different expressions... and the mechanics wouldn't have to go as far.

11 MINS LATER

41:55
Are the first film, Mogwais and Gremlins, or either or, more prone to decay and destruction over time because of the way they were built? Or is it sort of...
