15:43
Do
15:43
you know what it was? It was the fact that a tweezel down, I'm supposed to have won a year's supply of this stuff.
15:52
Have I not given it to you? So I thought, do you know what? I'm going to get my own back.
15:59
Hold

14 MINS LATER

30:00
and then my wife's like are you buying event horses for the nanny
30:07
maybe slightly inappropriate if she's 20 years older so it's like
2:43
What exactly are you looking for?
2:46
Well, I think I'm looking for a voice.
2:49
I'm looking to give a voice or be a voice for First Nation communities that have suffered or may suffer from fire.
2:59
I don't think that Our government, our leaderships have done enough to mitigate the possibility of fires.
3:08
I mean, I think it's really simple to, and I'm not a rocket science, but what can we do is the question, right? For me, that we need to inform and help our communities and our people.
3:24
And it's not about the what so much as it is about the why.
3:29
The why is we're saving lives.
BrynHOST
7:09
And part of that big conversation is also housing.
8:43
What is the Burley horse? What do they need to come here to succeed?
8:47
I think ultimately, you know, here is about the cross country test, isn't it? So it's actually one of the reasons I didn't come here till probably only a few years ago was my first burley because I didn't quite have the horses that were suited to this course, you know, the stamina that's required.
9:05
I was listening to Derek earlier saying that, you know, actually the horses get a breather and things from minute three to eight.
9:12
And I was thinking it did not feel like that last year at all.
9:15
It felt pretty grueling.
9:16
And I was really hoping that it was going to be the other way around this year.
9:20
So to hear it that way again is interesting.

8 MINS LATER

17:51
What would it mean to take the Burley title, Tom?
JTHOST
16:23
You guys have seen
16:24
it.
16:24
Yep.
16:24
You guys who are listening or watching can go back on YouTube and see it.
16:28
The same thing's been happening with me.
16:30
And I'm going to be honest, as long as I've known him, I hate to say it, I believe he's a lost cause.
16:38
Wow.

9 MINS LATER

JTHOST
25:52
I mean,
BraydenHOST
9:01
What are your thoughts on that, man?
9:03
Yeah, really pleased, obviously.
9:06
And at the beginning of the year, we're kind of a lot closer to selection than maybe we first thought at the beginning of the year, which is great.
9:13
He's obviously a very exciting young horse to keep going with.
9:17
Whether this year will be a year too soon for him or not, we'll find out.
9:21
But, no, very pleased to be there and have the recognition.

9 MINS LATER

BraydenHOST
18:17
Was Sabrina horsey and how did that come about? Yeah,
18:19
so we actually worked together when we worked for a rider when we were much younger.
25:59
What have you discovered about what people like to share from their holidays?
26:03
Well, it's interesting because this is one of the great tensions really.
26:05
You know, which side of this, um, this card do you really look at? I'm always drawn to the message first, personally, because I'm always intrigued by the personal.
26:15
Um, I mean, if you like, a postcard is mass-produced.
26:17
The image is mass-produced.
26:18
There are many thousands of that card with that donkey.
26:21
But there's only one with that message on the back.
28:18
But is it sad that people don't share the photographs and the, and the tales that they have from their holidays?
11:49
[laughs]
11:50
... she's kind of a legend in the WNBA.
11:52
She was the first woman to come out of the closet in the WNBA, and now she's a really great oyster farmer in Moriches Bay, in the waters of Fire Island, that we like to say.
12:01
And she recently has started farming kelp.
12:04
Which is very exciting because New York doesn't really have much of a kelp industry.
12:07
It's largely in Maine.
12:09
But we have beautiful wide open ocean, and kelp is great for the water.
13:42
But before we tease out the next pair of cocktail releases, what do Two Fruits cocktails do differently in this rapidly growing, very competitive world of RTDs?
4:37
And in terms of helping your horses to perform at their best at the top stage, uh, what is it for you that is a non-negotiable?
4:45
Uh, I think it's just the whole, whole horse approach that we try and take, in that we try and get the little details right, and using companies like Fairfax that are scientifically proven to help the horses, um, along with all the other aspects that go into making these horses even get here in the first place, let alone complete on, on a Sunday, is what we try and look for.
5:16
What difference does it make to your performance as a rider?
5:20
A lot, really.
5:21
I mean, we now have...
5:22
You know, way back when, we always had a dressage saddle and a jump saddle that was showjumping and cross-country.
5:28
Now, with Fairfax, we have a saddle for each phase, and I wouldn't go back.
5:33
You know, the cross-country is specifically for the cross-country and puts me very much in that cross-country position and a little bit with my leg further forward so I can be ready to brace.
