How exactly are you doing that? What are you doing?

Well, the problem was I was really I wound up being successful at University of Virginia in the classroom.

And so then I started getting calls from other universities.

There was Memphis and then there was Columbia University and Sacred Heart.

And so what happened was I realized there's only one of me.

And I can't be all places all the time.

So I thought through it.

Now, what are some of the mistakes that you saw some of the athletes make financially?

Talk to us about what you're doing with that space.

It's funny, when I talk to my friends about what I'm doing, they all say, oh my God, you're living the coolest life.

You're doing all the things I wanna do.

You're teaching a class in college.

You're working with college athletes.

You're getting asked to speak at big family office events with wealthy people.

But that working with college athletes was nothing that I saw coming.

So we covered most of the stuff I wanted to, but with the years of experience that you have, being a successful advisor, what are some of the things that you would say were mistakes or things that you would recommend to other advisors, maybe younger than us, to not go down that road and also best practices? What are some of the good and the bads of this industry that you could share of being an advisor?

So is your goal at this point maximizing the message that this lesson plan is available for schools and other leagues?

Yeah, here's my sense of how this is going to go down, right? So the issue that you're seeing is this, is that the athletic directors do not love the idea of bringing in financial advisors to teach the classes.

And the interesting thing is that group is probably the most qualified to do it because financial advisors, not only do they know their craft, You know, we as a species tend to be hams and like to speak in front of public groups and aren't like necessarily intimidated by student athletes.

Right.

The problem with it is there's a conflict of interest.

So unless you're having that advisor say, I'm not going to take I'm doing this completely out of the goodness of my heart.

I'm not just trying to get the two biggest football and the two biggest basketball players and like get them as clients and then move on.
