What was the evolution to end up in the studio making things?
2:32
I come of a big family of 10 brothers and sisters, and I think they recognized that right away or at an early age, would take me to the art museum, take me to creative spaces.
2:43
Yeah, at a young age, I was like, "I wanna be an artist," you know? "That's what I wanna do," and my parents were like, "No, you can't make any money at that.
2:49
You can't..." You know, they were more practical and like so.
2:53
But I still, my whole life, I wanted [laughs] to be an artist, still do.
2:56
And, uh, my dad worked at the University of Cincinnati, and so we could get tuition remission and, um, sorta like looked at the, um, design and art programs there and was sort of like, "Do I wanna be an industrial designer or a graphic designer?" And I picked industrial design 'cause it was more 3D.

So I went, you know, even though I didn't really know exactly what it was really until about sophomore year what they do.

... as opposed to actually sketching.
29:09
I don't like that.
29:10
Yeah, I talked to him recently.
29:11
I talked to him like once a week still.
29:14
And he's doing this regular run that's eight miles up to the mountains.
29:21
I visited him recently and he showed me this bald spot up on a mountain.
29:24
He's like, that's my run.
29:25
I do up to there.

I always respect the first responders and police officers and stuff, but after doing the shift work, I was like, oh, my God, way more respect for that position because that shift work, I don't care what it is that you're doing, work at the hospital, like I said, ambulance, fire department, police officer, shift work is hard, dude.
