So
20:32
people can advocate for themselves and have that fruitful conversation.
20:36
I don't know about your experience, Margie, but many doctors, they kind of have their... go-to treatments and answers that haven't really been thought out through into much depth and so but if you can go there with the knowledge with the information with understanding where what you what your preferences are and what's important to you then you can have a far better On that topic, once I had started to coach men around their bone health, I started seeing a gap between what patients were experiencing and what the clinicians and the researchers were looking at.
21:18
I was going to these conferences, these big conferences.
21:20
conferences where they were talking about the latest research and the medications and the treatments and all these interesting things and how hard people were working on helping people with this.
21:30
And then I was talking to men and women were approaching me saying, Tom, have you got something for us? And what they were struggling with.
21:36
And there was this big gap between, particularly when it came to the treatments and what people were experiencing.

So has you seen the men who have embarked on these exercise programs really making transformations and look back and think this was a good thing?
13:10
But when, like you mentioned before, obviously now 20s is when we're peak, but like is any time a good time or is it like now, like once you reach like your 40s, is that when we should... routinely have you know throughout our lives maybe 40s people like every 10 years or so
13:24
so your jp will tell you to start getting them from 65 but that's probably okay in my yeah so in order so to know whether you should start doing them earlier it's those two warning signals that we just mentioned losing height and potentially breaking something from a falling height um The other thing is if you have any of the risk factors.
13:47
So risk factors are things such as a family history.
13:50
So if mom, grandma, someone in the family has had osteoporosis or has it, that's one of the warning signals.
13:58
Being around that perimenopausal period would be important as well.
14:02
Things such as low body weight.
14:08
Usually we want to have, for general health, we want low body weight, but for osteoporosis, that actually is counterproductive.
17:23
Yeah, tell us about that.
