Was there a mindset sh- realization you had where you really feel like you started to become the geoscientist you wanted to be?

[laughs] Very interesting question.

I've had several saltations, if you will, leaps, [laughs] in my career, and one was from being a Cordilleran, uh, surface-based, uh, tectonics, geoscience, volcanology guy into Texas subsurface with the Bureau of Economic Geology.

That was back in 1980, Lord knows.

And some of the great people that kinda retreaded me into both geophysics and well logs and all that good stuff.

That was really the first big transition.

The second one was really becoming consultant and, and working in industry.
