What is happening, or where are the inequalities between how federal employees are treated and how the contracting workforce is treated?

I think the most significant thing is that depending on the year, there's between two and three times more federal contractors who are spending taxpayer funds than civil service employees.

And that's gone up sharply with, you know, over four trillion dollars in new spending, uh, since the pandemic and the climate change bill, most of which is going to contractors, uh, rather than to federal civil service employees to, to implement.

So it's, it's always been kind of a under the radar, but more significant aspect of government accountability than the conventional civil service system.

Federal contractors have one whole level stronger rights than government civil service employees do, uh, because they have access to court and can seek justice, uh, from a jury, uh, a jury of the, the citizens whom they're purporting to defend, uh, when they risk their professional lives.

Civil service employees have to, uh, go to administrative judges who don't have any political independence.

Um, they've never had very much.

What are the key points that you're watching here?

Well, and

conflicting loyalties.

Yeah.

You know, like somebody who may be engaging in activities that have a short-term destructive impact, say, well, in the long term, it's for the greater good.

Like, what's good for GM is good for the country, eventually, you know? Yeah.

And whistleblowers, they're... at the intersection of valid but conflicting values that we're all raised with.

And they have to decide which values they're gonna be loyal to.

So I think it's the cultural change, the public perception, the public discourse on what a whistleblower is helps to really kind of show them in a different light and popular culture and media like films like with The Insider and Serpico and stuff what do you think those did also for do you think those really helped to shine a light on the importance

I mean, we're on a show floor, right, an expo hall, but, like, gives you the chance to put your products, put your message out there in a way that is very – Livable may not be the right word, but usable?

Yes, you're exactly right.

What we want to convey to our audience as they come in here is an integrator can come to our booth, and they can see with their own eyes and touch and hold with their hands the solutions that they can immediately take back to their own cities, their own towns, and... start bidding jobs for these types of solutions.

So maybe you don't have a casino, that's okay, you have hotels, and a hotel has a lobby and has a bar and has these things.

Maybe you don't have the exact solution we're showing here as in a casino, but every commercial installation has these different elements and we want to show how with AVPRO with RTI you combine these solutions together to give you the full package and so that's what we get to show today This relates right into residential, though.

It's not like we're using some other type of solution.

But with residential, we're going to just be more concerned about multi-channel audio and HDR video, where with our commercial audiences, we don't really care as much about that stuff.
