How can pharmacies better connect their day-to-day patient interactions with wider system priorities?

Well, I think they're doing a pretty good job already, Richard.

Uh, I think that, um, they... pharmacy colleagues are plugged into our strategic priorities already.

I think the advantage they have is that people walking into pharmacies in the High Street are a different cohort sometimes than people walking in for traditional healthcare at their GP practice.

I certainly think that the ability to increase the capacity to be able to address population health issues is vital, at least as vital as their ability to increase the capacity for on-the-day access too.

One of the, um, the issues to work through is the integration piece.

And so I think that the ability of our systems to talk to each other effectively, as well as the ability for our people in primary care, across primary care, to talk to each other effectively about the same groups of people, that's key.

Tom, how far has Hampshire and Isle of Wight come on that integration journey? Uh, what's helped community pharmacy become more closely connected with general practice?
