2:55
What did you see?
2:56
Well, just in background, this firm has existed for 45 years.
3:01
I've been the owner for the last nine years.
3:03
I've worked here for about 26 years.
3:05
And for the first 40 of those years, we were a lifestyle firm.
3:09
And sometime during COVID, I just said to myself, I want to try a different challenge here, right? I want to figure out if I can build an asset.
3:17
And by chance, I found Collective 54, and that got me started in the right direction.

9:00
So what's that client work for you that you found hardest to let go and why that one?
32:37
And Todd, if you're a candidate on the ballot this year, how do you make sense of it all? Because these messages from Republicans seem to be fraud, fraud, fraud, and from Democrats, cost, cost, cost.
32:46
Well, I think you have to look more carefully at who your target audience is, who you think the swing voters are.
32:51
I mean, one of the things I saw in Peter's poll was that independents were slightly less interested in the fraud issue than Democrats or Republicans were.
32:59
But the more important thing that jumped out was the fact that they didn't really believe either party was superior to the other one.
33:05
They believe both parties potentially have problems with fraud and have difficulty managing money.
33:11
If you look then at the economy and inflation, independents were saying by a remarkable 63 to 90.
33:17
Nine margin, they trust Democrats more than Republicans.
38:19
Todd, what was your takeaway from those findings?
14:43
How does the calculus change without him?
14:45
Yeah, one of the ways it does change is that it looks like it's going to be a high turnout general election.
14:51
By the way, congratulations.
14:52
You were the first one who said to me there's going to be a million primary voters.
14:57
And while I agree that this is going to make it easier for a lot of Republicans to back the ticket as a whole, You've still got to bring those Trump voters along.
15:06
And there's 130,000 plus of them who voted for Mike Lindell.
15:10
And Donald Trump has had difficulty with his candidates and actually Republicans having good turnout during off-year elections here in Minnesota since Trump entered the national political scene.

25:36
upon that?
2:38
How does the calculus change without him?
2:40
Yeah, one of the ways it does change is that it looks like it's going to be a high turnout general election.
2:46
By the way, congratulations.
2:48
You were the first one who said to me there's going to be a million primary voters.
2:53
And while I agree that this is going to make it easier for a lot of Republicans to back the ticket as a whole, You've still got to bring those Trump voters along, and there's 130,000 plus of them who voted for Mike Lindell, and Donald Trump has had difficulty with his candidates, and actually Republicans, having good turnout during off-year elections here in Minnesota since Trump entered the national political scene.
3:17
All of this is going to play out because DeMuth and Tafoya will be put on the spot about particular things the president does.
3:26
Do you support Todd Blanch's attorney general? It's just one example.

10 MINS LATER

13:30
Democrats continue to build upon that?
