So can you tell us a little about Deb, what kind of person she is, what kind of sheriff she is?

Oh, yeah.

Well, thank you.

Solvig was a lot of fun, and so was Deb, because the minute you put on that sheriff's uniform... you kind of understand a lot more about authority.

The way they walk, that heavy belt with all the gear and shit on it.

I loved playing Deb and I'm glad I was going for something just very straight and simple.

I just really thought, well, what would it be like to be someone who cares about her small community, which I do, but is in a position of authority and under the most dire, fucked up circumstances.

We think it's very normal, like the way we as the Addams Family do talk in Harry's situation.

Okay.

And we love talking with people who do, and we're always really curious about their, their takes on our, on our films because we do not.

We would never assume to know or, or, or say what witchcraft is, is about.

W- what we're going on is really just intuition.

We have great intention with what we do.

We make use of what we have at our fingertips, and don't let that get in the way of the magic we want to make.

Instead, we, we con- consider it a strength.

But what, what made you say, "We're gonna do this"? Because that is a huge leap of faith.

It was really a cool dream that just became a reality.

And I know we'll get further into this, Gary, but there's still so much DNA in how we work today that there was when we first started, which is kind of fun.

It really worked for us, and we learned right off the bat that using what you have really is enough if you want it to be.

And so much like how that trip we lived on the road for a year, we did the same thing with Hellbender.

But the crossover of our lives and our creativity – it's so doable.

Like that kind of symbiosis is really doable.

And not only is it doable, but it's fucking fun when you get to do, make art with your family.
