6:23
Mm.
6:23
Uh, back in 2008 timeframe in the little town of Leaburg, Oregon.
6:30
Once a month, we would get ready, uh, for witness testimonies in a pizza parlor called Ike's Pizza, and because, uh, I had already done town halls like that before, I thought, "Well, gosh, what if we just make it more of like a community potluck style and get a door fee and had some speakers actually kind of like psyche the audience up enough to where eventually they could step up and tell their own stories?" And so that was the idea.
6:59
And so we found like the perfect little spot right in the town of Port Angeles, Washington.
7:04
It's like five minutes off of 101.
7:07
Um, and so yeah, we have another one coming up here.
7:11
Um, it's already happened, so it was a lot of fun, with, uh, Harvest Moon, who's a Salish elder, and she's gonna be talking about the oral traditions of the Sa- Coastal Salish and Bigfoot.

26:56
So I'll let you tell your side.
72:12
Tobe, tell us what brought you to make the film, and Dr. Simeon, also tell us how you got involved.
72:19
Well, so, you know, for me, I was, um, invited as a co-producer to be on the film.
72:24
Um, originally, this all started with, um, you know, in 2005 timeframe when I found just a single footprint near the town of Springfield, Oregon, with my son, and I got a larger question started as to whether or not this could all add up to something that I could eventually see.
72:43
You know, are these footprints, A, can we duplicate this experience? Can, can we follow it deeper into the forest? And these are the kind of things that, uh, you know, luckily enough, luckily enough, I lived in the Pacific Northwest.
72:56
It was easy for me to try to do.
72:57
So I started interviewing people, um, having conferences, monthly get-togethers, and then that added up into me meeting what I would call a Sasquatch contactee.
73:08
These families generally, you know, more than one person living in these rural areas that have these ongoing habituated experiences of prolonged Bigfoot activity.

And it, it in turn caused some incredible understandings and events after that.
