Good morning, all the listeners and those in the room.

The Economic Freedom Fighter is still very much adhering to its core principles of the restoration of dignity of all its people, which is why I'm the mayoral candidate for the city of Johannesburg, because as a medical doctor, I bring both local, regional, and global experience that all of us require to bring this city to truly be a world-class African city.

Our developmental agenda and approaches the EFF is not a matter of administrative preference.

It involves some fundamental choices about democratic accountability, which has been lacking, and fiscal sustainability, which has brought Johannesburg to its knees.

The city is a primary interface between the states and its citizens, and current abrasive approaches by the current political leaders alienate citizens, and the city has become a de facto debt collector and not much else.

The municipal structure determines whether public resources are being used for the collective good, which are all our human rights, or being wasted within fragmented bureaucratic bureaus of the many entities of Johannesburg.

Dr. Mufukeng from the EFF, your policy on immigration.

We're currently inheriting a city, um, when I'll be the mayor of Joburg in a few weeks-

weeks-That is already riddled with corruption and a corporate culture that actually rewards corruption at every single point of service.

We need to remove the fact that you are already expecting to be asked for a cool drink when JMPD stops you.

We have to remove the expectation and the preparedness that taxi drivers have, that they have extra cash on them when they get stopped because they're trying to get our commuters around the city to participate in the largest economy of this country.

So this i-idea of corruption is not just something that does not have consequences.

It leads to death.

We have a lot of our whistleblowers, like Babita was honored by the EFF long ago actually for being a whistleblower, but was incredibly let down by the system.

What's your position as the EFF on that?

Here is her villain origin story.

So I did internship in Johannesburg, Charlotte, my tech care hospital.

And I was like, oh, I fought so hard as an intern, one of the biggest hospitals in Joburg.

Like I need a break.

I'm going to go do my community service in like clinics and like just see how the primary health care system works.

I had done the most brilliant work and learned from such amazing people at that big hospital, but it was also just so big and, And I went to the clinics in the West Rand, in Joburg.

And every day was a different clinic.

People clearly want to know the things, but despite the fact that most people are actually doing the delicious dance of lust and love, very few people get decent sex education.
