And we've all seen the Baltimore region is Spiro Agnew and Dale Anderson and county executives, you know, making decisions, not to mention what's happening in Baltimore City, right, TJ? Like, is there the same level of accountability given the current media landscape?

Oh, I hate to say it, but when we watch what happened, you know, CBS radio, we've seen what happened to some newspapers and the direction that they're going.

Obviously, local radio here, WBAL.

It was a win for government officials who don't like accountability.

That's for sure.

Because there's just less people being critical.

There's no doubt about it.

Then we weaponize our dollars that we're going to spend on media because we are opposed to the political ideology that we perceive or that is the reality and that just – it creates a feedback loop that is regressive.

Have you had any kind of moment to look back? at what the journey has been and realize how rare someone that was so under the radar is now being looked at as a major player in a team that has championship caliber.

Definitely.

I sit back and look at the journey every day, you know, because I came from a hard thing.

Like senior year of high school, lost my dad midway through my season, so he didn't really get to see me graduate.

He didn't get to, you know what I'm saying, just finish my season out.

So, I kind of took that chip on the shoulder, and I kept on pushing.

And coming out of high school, I had the four Division II offers, and I always had the goal in the back of my head.

How does that get you ready for being a member of Tulane

but man, that said, um, it, yeah, I, I knew this was a big one for you, Josh, but yeah, I also don't think I fully realized how impactful it is for you as, as a musician and as a music fan.

Um, but digging into it, like, I feel like I know you better as a player, as a writer, um, as, as a creative, as, um, as a music, uh, fan, as a star flyer fan, um, and like as a star Reno, uh, the, the, the starriest brightest of them all.

Um, but really it, it, it was this cool opportunity for me to see into like through a new lens, like what, what star flyer is, what it can be, the many forms it's taken, you know, over the, the discography.

Um, and it was a wild ride for me to go from, you know, the silver and gold.

Right.
