It is the showrunner that, that locks picture.

And ideally, I mean, you always hope and, and more times than not, uh, at least for me, I've found that like by the time the director gets on there, they are, you know, they've toned with the showrunner, like they're, they're aligned with the showrunner's vision.

So yes, I mean, to Eric's point, there are times when you're like, "Okay, whatever, like back to square one." But more, more, in my experience, more often it's like a couple of things maybe, you know, might have to get tweaked or whatever, but like the director was, was trying to bring the showrunner's vision to screen, you know, channeled through them as creatively and artistically as they saw it.

But they brought cool things, you know? And things that perhaps the showrunner might not have thought of or like whatever.

But, you know, I always feel that, you know, you might have to wear three different hats, especially now that post-production schedules are so compressed that like you are overlapping all the time.

So yeah, you know, that can be like frustrating.
