It's, it's a little bit long, but, uh, I'll start it at the point where, where the action is.

I think this article is every bit as important as that one.

This is from 1873, and it's from, uh, takes place in Berks County, Pennsylvania.

So, uh, let me see here.

And we can talk about what it means for this to appear in one of these old articles.

So the background of this is a reporter heard some strange things were happening in a little area in Berks County, Pennsylvania.

And he went there to see what was going on.

And he stops by a local inn and he asks them, you know, what's happening, basically.

So it's a long article.

I'm going to start in the middle.

Anyway, the first set of episodes was basically an audio podcast version of my first book, like exploring these ideas.

The first episode to go off that that trail and quite frankly it's the first thing i ever did with josh uh kind of creatively like we'd been on where did the road go together at first but this is the first thing we kind of did together it's a story called the wish diggers and it takes place in indiana and through a wonderful series of events a few summers back I had said to my friend, I said, you know, that story just always hangs with me.

It's basically about this family that was experiencing weird stuff.

Um, it's, it's a newspaper article that someone...

So, so someone wrote a letter to a guy who wrote, who wrote newspaper articles, um, who wrote for the newspaper, rather, in Washington, DC.

And let me, um, take one second.

So, uh, this is an article published in a Washington, DC newspaper in 1929.

Mm.

Mm-hmm.

"They were there but for a short time when they were startled by stones and clubs being thrown in the bushes.

There was no person to be seen.

After the first throwing, everything was quiet.

The women folks then heard strange screeching and unearthly noises resembling the hum of a steam engine.

They were frightened almost to death and stood riveted on the spot, white with fear and trembling.

Then of a sudden, the air seemed filled with light and transparent shadows that flitted about under the trees and above the heads of the frightened females.

So my favorite is, uh, h- his name was John Stink.

That was his second name, and he was an Osage Indian that they called him the living ghost because they, they said he was killed a- as many as three times and came back to life.

So the interesting thing is, and, and I always like to...

Uh, it makes me wonder if he has any family or anything like that that might be interested in, in his old place.
