And so she ran that marathon with me.

And when I was at Evercore, the bank that I was at, after the first year, running just kinda became this consistent ritual.

And before I had started working there, I'd read a book, physical copy book, called Born to Run.

And it was the first time I read a book where I literally couldn't believe human beings were capable of doing the things they mentioned.

They were talking about people running 100 miles through the mountains of Colorado, and my reaction was it was unbelievable.

Up to that point, I had never, I never knew people went further than a marathon.
