I believe it is, if we're talking about animal training, it is seeing the animal learn, being able to facilitate learning in the animal.

If that's not happening, I think the process of training is being... is not receiving enough reinforcement to maintain the motivation to do it, at least in that particular context.

It might be with a specific animal and a specific behavior that you're having problems with.
