Tim, can you tell us about your career path and what led you into this work?

Yeah, thanks.

I was pretty lucky.

I grew up in a really small coastal town in Victoria.

I was a bit of a rat bag as a teenager.

I wasn't going too well at school and my parents took a risk and sent me to a private school and I Because once I got there, I got an opportunity to be part of a sort of a broader goal that the school was having around supporting our First Nations community.

And I got involved in a group where I volunteered at a First Nations school up in Townsville.

But what do we know has happened before they come into contact with the justice system? Or what are your experiences and reflections of individuals and families that you have worked with?
