Kate FraserHOST
As a leader, how do you create the conditions for staff to experiment just like this and see what's possible in a safe way, especially when teams are small and capacity is limited?

Tim SymonsGUEST
I think the first challenge that we had when Kate and Nick began to go down this path was accessing the correct training and development.

Tim SymonsGUEST
But when we were doing this now a few months ago, I think we noticed that while there was a heap of training, mentoring, self-based learning, what have you out there for generative AI, and lots of conversations about that, it was harder to find training and development that focused on task assistance usage or agentic AI.

Tim SymonsGUEST
So I know that it took a while for Nick and Kate to really identify, okay, what is the training and development we're going to need, and let's make sure we get that right.

Tim SymonsGUEST
Because the great training that was out there for generative AI that they were beyond that, that they'd been using that for some time.

And finally, Tim, what is the one practical thing that leaders of small teams can do to help staff use AI, you know, effectively, safely and confidently, particularly that they're starting to bring in new AI team members almost with these task assistants?
