Absolutely.
11:35
And built one of the more significant landscaping companies in Southern California.

A little luck, a little hard work, just like a lot of your members, but at some point, you get to a point in your life and you say, "Well, how can I maybe give somebody a leg up, a little tiny boost?" And here we sit with multiple nonprofits or charities that we benefit that change people's lives because they get a little bit of a boost.
12:04
But what I wanted to say is that there's a lot of people In the world that just don't know how specifically to do that, and they're uncomfortable maybe putting a suit and tie on and sitting down at, at, a, a charity dinner function.
12:21
Maybe that's not their thing.
12:23
Nothing wrong with those.
12:25
But we provide an opportunity for three or four days for people from all walks of life, from eight to 85, to come down to Cabo and really have a tremendous time, have a ton of fun, and meet new people, do whatever it is you want, and we'll talk about that in a minute, and at the end of the day, you go home on Sunday and you say, "I just had the time of my life, and wow, I just gave back to people that were a little less fortunate than me," some in Mexico, many in Southern California that you've heard of.
15:35
This is what this show's all about today.
9:54
How does the texture and movement, even scale and pattern affect the feel of a room? People don't always talk about the feel when you walk in a room.
10:04
Well, because again, I think, you know, color helps set the mood and then texture kind of how it feels.
10:11
And, you know, there's a big thing in both psychological and selling and in flooring now about tactile sensitivity and all of this.
10:19
And that, you know, feeling something that feels natural just connects with people in an emotional way.
10:26
And I think that wood flooring is one of the few products that, that has the ability to do that.
10:31
Because again, if we can get them to love that space, and again, I went back to how do you want it to feel? Warm or cozy or larger or smaller.
10:41
And, you know, a hand-scraped floor of the same color and the same gloss would probably play off as rustic to a consumer.

that designers help prevent issues and save money and that they know how to put all that, the cost, the value, the design element all together? Is that what they're trained to do?
27:06
You know, so now it's like fashion.
27:09
It's all circular.
27:10
Yeah.
27:11
You know, and it's a balance, Steve, because, you know, lower glosses in some respects hide things.
27:18
scratches and hides dents.
27:20
It hides what I call life throws at it.
27:22
But on the other hand, a little bit of gloss is beneficial to the depth of color, right? And as darker colors, we're now starting to see make a little bit of a resurgence.

We need plank that's stable that won't create claims.
