So I'm just curious if you can, I know you've probably told it a million times, but I'd love to hear the backstory there the first time you went out and did this.
11:22
Yeah, sure.
11:23
So actually, this is kind of how Ghost City Tour started in a way.
11:26
This is where my interest in it came.
11:28
So I've been a history buff my entire life.
11:30
I'm especially fond of Civil War history.
11:33
I was fortunate enough to grow up not far from Gettysburg.

23:42
Do you have a favorite memory of a past guest you can share with us? Maybe someone who's done a tour with you who really touched you in some way or there was a meaningful experience that happened?
2:31
So talk to me, how'd you get into the web design and decide that, okay, you know what? I like ghost tours better.
2:37
Yeah, I mean, my journey to becoming a web designer slash marketer slash software engineer, it really just came from a place of desperation.
2:47
You know, I was living in Pennsylvania at the time.
2:49
That's where I essentially grew up in.
2:51
You know the job opportunities there weren't anything amazing so for many years, I was actually a whitewater rafting guide in the summer and I teach people how to see in the winter.
3:01
And one day, the rafting company it's called whitewater adventures they're out of Ohio Pennsylvania.
3:07
I heard them discussing that they needed a website and I was like you know I could probably build a website, so I kind of barge in the room, I said guys.

46:45
What are some of those coming up in the immediate future?
DianeHOST
11:58
So what made you decide to go the Ghost Tour route? I know it was kind of a joke, but it's definitely gotten serious at this point.
12:06
Yeah, you know, I always say that I started Ghost City as a joke, which is like half true.
12:09
I mean, that's just my funny, self-deprecating way of trying to, you know, crap on myself.
12:14
The real reason I started Ghost City Tours is because I was trying to help out two friends.
12:17
You know, since I was 19 years old, I've owned my own companies.
12:21
And I started out with web design, marketing, and went into software development.
12:26
And when I moved to Savannah, I met, like I said, these two guys, they were great ghost war guys, but they weren't good business people as in like they, you know, they were trying their best, but they, they were struggling a little bit.

27 MINS LATER

DianeHOST
39:39
that could be a problem.
27:00
What cities are they trying to get into? Is it now just cities or countries we're after for the tour side of things versus the media side of things?
27:08
I mean, for the tour side of things, it's going to be countries here soon.
27:12
Like, that ambition's kicking in again.
27:16
I'm like, you know, I think I could take over all of Europe.
27:18
Probably pretty easily, actually.
27:19
Europeans are a bunch of pussies.
27:22
You know, we could beat them pretty easily.

37 MINS LATER

64:48
Terry, I'm sorry, Terry, he's going to which state? Someone's asking Northern California, but where are you mostly investigating?
