Turns out that that is not true.

Both Ilhan Omar and her husband, Tim Mynett, were present and home and probably asleep when the FBI came knocking at their door, which explains how the FBI was able to secure her phone.

Apparently, they also secured her laptop, and most importantly, they also secured her passport.

So her passport and her electronic communication devices are now in the hands of the FBI and will be used as evidence in the upcoming cases against her.

Doesn't mean that he was doing it to pay her because she was coming and sitting in his lap.

Anyways, I think this whole thing is bullshit, [sniffs] and, uh, Seeking Arrangement, that's like a sugar baby, sugar daddy type thing, so this is not gonna go very far.

Uh, agents carried out boxes of documents from her home.

Separately, DC US attorney Janine Piro, Piro confirmed a different investigation into valuation of businesses run by Omar's husband, Tim Mynett.

Omar's disclosure forms had listed the businesses at be- at worth between $6 million and $30 million.

She blamed an accounting error and amended the filing to listl- list the couple's joint assets as between $18,000 and $95,000.

So once she got caught, where you're an illegal immigrant, you come to this country, you become a congressman because your district is packed with Somalis who steal our money through fraud and then support you to go get them more money through fraud, and then you become a congressman, and you're worth nothing, and then your husband says, "Oh, we own a winery that's worth, you know, $30 million," until it's called out and then you go, "Oh, well, it's really not worth that." She's a criminal.

She's gonna be deported, and that's a congressional seat we're gonna pick up.

It began operations in 2022.

She also disclosed in Congressional records the value of his stake in their winery, called Est Crew, at $1 to $5 million.

This is insanity.

So what was going on? So what was going on at the businesses that were supposedly worth as much as $30 million just two years ago? In November of 2024, Rose Lake Inc.'s CEO, William Haler, reportedly testified in a bankruptcy proceeding that the company had no money, assets, or investments right as Omar's disclosure valued her husband's stake at up to $25 million.

Rose Lake Capital listed its headquarters at 80 M Street, Southeast Washington, DC, a WeWork co-working location.
