The college used to run a distance learning course for the MRCS exam called the STEP course.

And it was a distance learning course, but there were a number of so-called college days in which there will be mock fivers to prepare for the examination.

And one day he came into Addenbrookes and he said, Tim, I don't suppose you fancy going to the college in about three weeks' time because I'm supposed to be going down to be involved one of these college days and I can't do it.
