7:15
Mm-hmm.
7:16
Um, and so what are you getting? You're getting about 135 vertical feet, a brand new Doppelmayr triple, uh, that's just like East Peak and just like Vista.
7:27
So it, it's gonna show this, you know, it's gonna take the new skier, um, uh, and get them going on a lift that's similar to what we have throughout the area.
7:37
It runs a little bit slower, has a bigger chair spacing, so it's gonna be a little bit easier to load and unload.
7:44
And when it's all built out, we should have four or five really, uh, easy trails, but with character.
12:13
Mm-hmm.
12:13
You know, 'cause it's the middle, and so it's, it, you go through there on your way to and from South Peak, and a lot of people just ski there 'cause it's really, really good inter- advanced intermediate and intermediate type terrain, and even some advanced beginner terrain.
12:27
So it, it's, it services, um, a, a wide range of abilities.
26:11
Where do you
26:11
want to start, Tim? Well, thank you.
26:14
So maybe I'll, I'll kind of take myself back to the fifth grade.
26:17
So I was in the fifth grade and my, my dad, uh, to kind of expose me to investing, um, so that I could pick any one stock and I could keep the gains, but not realize the losses.
26:26
And that was gonna be sort of my foray into invest.
26:29
And I remember, uh, I remember he convinced me to buy this, a number of shares in a, in a small bank in Bellingham that no longer exists, but that was how I got into it.
26:37
It was Mount Baker savings alone.

7 MINS LATER

33:11
And so I think that's just a really healthy way to visualize it that I'm not sure if that was part of your intention, but that's really what's saying to me.
3:32
So my question to you, Tim, what are your first thoughts on what took place last night at City Council?
3:41
Well, I think it's unfortunate that it's gotten to a point where there's a legal process in place now.
3:49
Honestly, I would rather there was a community conversation here between groups, including the land use planning group and probably people with Our Park, Our Vote.
4:01
I think there needs to be some dialogue between the groups.
4:05
I think I've stated both in my column and some of my social media, I think this is time for compromise, and I think it's time for people to come together and talk about what we want to do there, because very obviously not everybody is going to get what they want.
4:22
But I honestly believe there's a compromise in there that can satisfy everyone to a certain extent.
4:30
And I honestly, other than a litigation, I'd much rather see these groups come together and start talking to each other about really what's best for the community.

7 MINS LATER

11:39
Do they want a golf course?
7:43
But what do you mean by now we are focused on legal points and interest groups trying to get their own way? What way do they want?
7:53
Well, I think in the fairness... to the mayor and the city council, I think a lot of them are also thinking about their political futures.
8:02
So I think they're trying hard not to make the wrong decision rather than being focused on what's right or good for Lester Park.
8:12
I know when I worked with Mayor Reiner, Mayor Reiner was very clear all along with what he wanted to see at Lester Park, especially in terms of recreation.
8:22
longer term having housing there and golf in some form to return there.
8:30
Somewhere along the line I think he's kind of gone silent along with others on what they'd like to see there.
8:38
I think there's a lot of fear of saying or doing the wrong things and being reactionary to what is happening out there rather than trying to show some leadership in terms of what we all know people in District 1 in the city want.

6 MINS LATER

15:23
So what does that mean, a non-binding referendum? What are we trying to accomplish with this? Well, I
13:57
14:17
Die werden nicht noch wieder Volumensteigerung hinkriegen.
14:19
Also ja, Export ist super wichtig.
14:22

26:19
