[laughs]

... like, each era and what it was trying to solve.
4:12
Uh, but, but I'll, I'll just talk through kind of at a, at a high level.
4:15
You know, the original problem was simple.
4:18
A carrier sent a bill, and somebody had to check it against a rate and make sure that the payment was made.
4:24
And early in that 120-year period, it was about checking a bill against a tariff, right? And then, uh, industries got deregulated, things got more complicated, and the tools and the processes got better, but the starting line never moved.
4:43
Every version of an audit started with, uh, an invoice days or weeks after a package or a load left the dock, and by the ti-- by then, the decision was already made.

27:02
You mean I was on to something there, Tim?
27:03
Yeah, I think at the highest level, so we operate in the parcel industry primarily, and it's an incredibly complex industry, and especially with the national carriers, the pricing mechanisms, the levers, the... know how things get applied differently how a fuel surcharge gets applied to different elements within the package details or the delivery um is you know i consider it a labyrinth right it's it's almost impossible to navigate and know you know how not not to go around the wrong corner how to figure that out um so i just i just think the level of complexity has With that level of complexity growth, there's growth in the opportunity for issues.
27:51
And carriers, frankly, are their own worst enemy.
27:54
They make it complex and then their own pricing teams can't figure it out when they're doing the billing.
27:59
I've seen that multiple times where you have to clarify to them, you made this change.
28:05
Here's how it actually affects the pricing.
28:07
And here's how the contract shows up.

And I want to get you to weigh in, too, Tim.
