I guess to sort of restate the principles here, um, like we've talked about the idea that if you want to do anything serious at the frontier of AI development, you need access to a large number of chips.

Tim FistGUEST
And so the things that you would want to verify is stuff to do with how are you actually using those chips.

Tim FistGUEST
Are you using it for the stuff that we've agreed is good, like alignment research, or are you using it for things that we've, we've agreed not to do? Like let's say we've agreed for, to a slowdown and we're not gonna train like the next big model.

Tim FistGUEST
And so fundamentally, you're trying to verify things about like how these chips are being used.

Tim FistGUEST
And I think it's worth sort of- Talking a little bit more about what makes this possible, which is the fact that this is just such a concentrated supply chain.

Can you speak to, you know, w-we've now outlined, you know, enough of what could be a set of solutions that may be imperfect but are, are a set, and then what are the incentives at play that either push back against this or push towards it?
