So was it a trap to fall into everything or was it out of necessity of needing to fill your books up with work that you just had to do whatever was available?

It was.

It was, but at the same time, when I first got involved, I thought I just want to be solo and I just want to trim hedges.

But then I found I had this ability to win jobs.

which I didn't know anything about business, I didn't know anything about sales, but I found this knack for getting jobs.

So then I thought, oh, well, maybe I can get a few employees and earn more money that way.

And so I started saying yes to every service, basically.

I can buy an excavator that's secondhand and get started down that path and then buy new if it's working
