From a Christian perspective then, what is AI for you? Does it pose something that brings a lot of opportunity or does it raise any more theological questions, especially because of the way AI can actually communicate and be quite intelligent and mimic human behaviour in conversational terms at least?

Yes, and AI raises all sorts of opportunities and questions as well.

I mean, I think to begin with, we need to realise that this is fundamentally just a kind of clever piece of mathematics and probability and engineering.

It's just kind of some kind of tool.

But just because it's a tool doesn't mean it doesn't raise other questions and issues.

A car is a tool.

It's just a machine.

Finally, do you think if Jesus was here right now on earth that he would be using AI?

And if you did have the opportunity to be racing minister, are there any changes at the moment that you would make or you think the industry needs to look at changing? Because they are tough times at the moment economically.

Yeah, absolutely.

There are tough times, and I do think there is a need for change and a need for a bit of leadership in that area.

Obviously, we have the downturn in gaming revenue and punting revenue.

is the big one because we know that that drives the industry.

The industry is largely self-funded through that process and that is diminishing.

So it's difficult to do that, to turn that around.
