So if they're new to the subject, as far as being the evaluator, what are some things that they should be looking for in the math classroom?

Yeah, well, I'll actually start with something which is who you could look with, right? Oh, I like it.

So one great strategy that I love, and this is what I did when I was a principal and I started coaching history teachers and English teachers, which wasn't my exact background, was find a subject matter expert that could help level up my coaching.

So what I would recommend for any folks who are stepping into these new roles, coaching math teachers, is find the best math teacher you can, find another math leader, and then co-observe with them.

And co-observe...

By going to the room together, taking your own separate notes, writing down what you see that stands out, that's great, any questions you have, then step out of the room.

And then you as the leader who's trying to level up your leadership, ask the expert, like propose like what you think is a solution, share your takeaways to the expert and get their feedback on that.

So will you share out what that is all about and why you created that?

But tell me about the Center for the Creator Economy, why it exists and who it serves and what the goals are.

Yeah, absolutely.

So the Center for the Creator Economy is the first academic resource center of its kind.

It's an academic resource center focused on social media content creation and the various revenue streams that kind of exist within this very quickly and very fast expanding industry that is the creator economy.

So when I describe the center, I kind of like to break it up into three parts.

So the first part is the curriculum piece, which you are a part of, which is super exciting.

The curriculum end, we just released the first ever Creator Economy Minor, which is going to be available to students starting in fall of 2026 with classes that exist within predominantly Newhouse and Whitman.
