You know, w- we're so used to seeing the, the, the summit stories always kind of told through the climbers, but what helped you find Dawa's point of view?

Mm.

Dawa's point of view, I would say, would be...

I think just from the love for the person, I would say, honestly.

You know, it was for, uh, it w- she looked at Tenzing, uh, as a mountain too, you know? She was ready to embrace it, you know? Uh, she was ready to embrace him, and I think that is why, you know, sometimes we say, you know, you go through a lot of struggles just to...

You know, the more better things are coming is, is what I feel.

And, uh, yeah, and then seeing Tenzing struggle right from... 'Cause like, you know, he's, he climbed the top right from the bottom level.

What was that experience like for you?

Amazing.

So yeah, I think, uh, the first-- I did actually the audition of Tenzing way before I did for the other film.

And, uh, they sent me an email saying like, "You are shortlisted, but then because of the project we're in a hold for a year, so we'll get back to you." And then I did the Shambhala, and then, then later I got an email saying, "Okay, we're going through with the thing." And, uh, I think we did one more camera test sort of thing, and then we I met Jen for the first time.

So I met Jen, Nikki, and Miranda, uh, back in Nepal, and then we did our camera shoots and then everything.

And, uh, you know, it's, what's crazy is I don't remember most of the parts, but then I remember the day, uh, like I got an, uh, email or like a text saying that you are selected, and I was actually out, and I was sitting nearby alone, and I was so happy.

I don't know.

I was so happy.

... very good, um, village kind of, uh, dynamics that, you know, you, the film covers so well.
