The Licked Hand

But they were the two big ones for me.

And again, I looked this up online and it's big enough to have its own Wikipedia entry called The Licked Hand, I think it's called.

And they were formative moments, I suppose, formative, yeah, experiences of hearing ghost stories and scary stories in my my my early childhood i love horror films now one of my favorite film genres and i think maybe maybe that came from this moment because i wasn't like terrified by any stretch of the imagination but i was creeped out and that's what you want from a ghost story when you're a kid or a grown-up you just want to be a And yeah, I think that was definitely served by this residential trip to Slimbridge.

This is the scariest ever thing to happen in Slimbridge, Wildfile and Wetlands Trust.

And I have heard this before.

Yep, this one's called The Licked Hand.

Oh, classic.

Okay.

I'm going to be reading a spooky, scary story from my childhood, one that has kept me up at night and stuck with me till this day.

This one is called The Girl and Her Dog or The Licked Hand.

a young girl was home alone while her parents were away for the weekend earlier that evening the news had reported that a serial killer had escaped from a nearby prison the announcer said he was dangerous and had last been seen somewhere in the surrounding area she tried not to think about it this was a small town nothing ever happened here Yes, she was home alone, but she had her loyal dog by her side who was sure to protect her.

She let the dog out one more time that night, closing and locking the front door when he returned.
