Terry, have you been able to connect some of this where you're really picking up on things, or a lot of people commonly when they come out to tour the property and investigate, have you historically found any connection of something that happened in a certain location on your, on your land?
2:50
Well, yeah.
2:50
Um, like Walter, you know, I had no idea about, um, I, I knew that there was a battle here.
2:57
I knew that, uh, Wade Hampton and the Confederates had put cannons here on the property and were firing over at, at Hunterstown.
3:05
The Park Service had come out, because the Park Service is very strict.
3:09
Whenever anybody finds stuff, they wanna come out and find out, make sure it's not their property that you're finding artifacts on.
3:16
So they had came out 'cause they had heard that I had been finding artifacts out here, and they brought a bunch of maps and stuff, and we were talking, and they said, "Well, for 25 years we have been looking for a stone with a, with a initial in it." They didn't tell me the initial or anything.
5:24
Yeah.
8:12
And Terry, what drew you to that property, and how long have you lived there?
8:17
Uh, we've lived here for five years.
8:18
We've owned it for six.
8:20
Uh, we moved here from Detroit.
8:22
Um, I was hurt, uh, at work, and Amanda had been watching the property.
8:28
We had came to Gettysburg for our honeymoon and fell in love with Gettysburg.
8:32
Uh, we came out here probably twice a year after our initial coming out, and she had watched this house on, uh, one of the sites for at least two years, and the price kept dropping and dropping.

20:06
No, that was my first, I guess you'd say real instrument.
20:13
I played around with guitars, drums, keyboards.
20:17
My parents, when I was a little kid, I always had a dream of having my own band.
20:23
I was literally five years old saying one day I'm going to have my own band.
20:29
Right.
20:30
I was I was even writing songs and and daydreaming about having a band.

So they had came out 'cause they had heard that I had been finding artifacts out here, and they brought a bunch of maps and stuff.
5:25
Yeah.
5:39
Now, Terry and Amanda, you bought a home with all of this acreage there, and Terry, what drew you to that property, and how long have you lived there?
5:50
Uh, we've lived here for five years.
5:52
We've owned it for six.
5:53
Uh, we moved here from Detroit.

6:17
Well, after I got hurt and had my surgery on my neck, um, the price had dropped substantially, so we came out and we took a look at it.
