John chapter 1, I don't have much time.

So let's get right into this.

This is something the Lord gave me today.

We've been spending time in the book of John.

I haven't been able to get out of the first chapter.

I only barely got out of the first few verses of John chapter 1.

Yeah.

And we find the grace of God in those needs.

five things I want to share with you tonight out of 1 Kings 18, so that's where we will be.

1 Kings 18 again.

We've been it all day.

We talked about Baal worship this morning.

If you're not familiar with that, I would encourage you to study it out a little bit, as I did.

I studied out Baal worship and realized how wicked it was, or still is.

Now, I've been asking the Lord what to do here, and I'm going to read a bunch of scripture.

We're going to start in Job, Job 42.

We left off on letter B on page 52, if you have your notes.

That's where we left off last week.

We said that God is all-knowing.

That was in letter A of your notes, which means he's omniscient, where it comes from omniscience.

Omniscience means all science, all knowledge.

With Jesus he held them and said unto them, with men this is impossible.

John chapter 3, let's get into this tonight.

Now I don't have, I'll be honest with you, it's only 6.30 and we'll probably be done a little early tonight.

Some of you will like that.

But I want to try to at least give you your money's worth.

But only you know what you put in the offering plate, so.

So you know what you did, so you might get your money's worth.

Kind of hard to comprehend that God can get angry, but he gets angry.

He got angry at just one person, Solomon.

There were times he got angry at Israel as a nation.

There were times that he got angry at other nations.

I would say that Sodom and Gomorrah is a good example of God's anger when he wiped those cities out because of their sin, their unrighteousness, their wickedness.

God does get angry.

That is the true meaning of charity.

Even to sacrifice our body apart from charity, this act would amount to nothing.

Charity is the measure of everything.

But there's a crown.

It's entitled, this crown is called a crown of rejoicing.

How about God gives us a crown because we rejoice more than we complain? Some of you are going to have a hard time with that one.

But it's called a crown of rejoicing.

And you can still refer to it as the soul.

1 Peter chapter 3.

We are on page 43, about in the middle.

If your husband is not a Christian, what do you do? Well, here we go.

1 Timothy 3, verse 1, it says, Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, that if any obey not the word, they also may without the word, or outside of the word, or away from the word, be won by the conversation of the wise.

Father, bless this time that we have.

You don't negotiate your, you tell your child to do something and they don't wanna do it, they're gonna try to negotiate you down to something else.

1 Peter chapter 3 verse 7, this is where we left off last week.

We talked about how it's important for the husband.

We're dealing with the husband's duty to his wife.

And we talked about how it's the husband's responsibility to provide for his wife and for his family.

We got into that last week, talked about that, what Paul teaches, and not just in Timothy, but he also taught it in Thessalonians, his letter to the Thessalonians.

And of course, we know that Adam was given that responsibility after he sinned, and God put the responsibility for the man to take care of his family.
