I had been blown across West Street, and the firefighter who you're referring to was not far from me, but we were really getting plummeted as that debris became widespread.

And he did give me that instruction of pull your shirt up and cover your mouth and your nose.

There were so many things that I learned that day, but I knew that he was a firefighter because they have beacons that flash if there's trauma impact to the body.

And so it was eerily quiet, but there were moans and groans and I could hear someone to my left say, crying.

So maybe if when one heals, we all heal a little bit.
