What is the care we need trying to solve, and what is the solution you are building?

The care we need started as a what if when I was navigating my own complex illness healing journey.

I am a retired army intelligence officer.

I experienced PTSD and medical injury in Iraq and I was medically evacuated in 2007 and by 2014 my body shut down.

I had chronic fatigue syndrome.

I did everything my doctors were telling me to do and I got worse every time I listened to them.

And having a biology degree from Johns Hopkins undergrad and having a master's of business administration being an intelligence officer, I knew that I could find information and I could find the solution to my problem if I searched diligently enough.

When you started building The Care We Need, what was the hardest thing to translate from your lived experience into the product? The complexity of
