You couldn't sneak one past me in
16:08
that era.
16:09
Happy Madison production.
16:12
There's some good parts of it, but overall, it was like I was underwhelmed by it because... at the time it's, you know, when you see a main actor and you see it and it's like, oh, here's this new comedian, here's this new thing, you're expecting a certain style to kind of run with that.
16:30
And it's completely out of that element.
16:32
And that's even what, the reason why I bring that up is I feel like Nacho Libre suffers from the lack of an extended universe, right? It's like when we brought up Wes Anderson earlier, the reason why, you know, I like Life Aquatic is my favorite Wes Anderson movie.

And so all of the other ones are kind of so similar that I enjoy them, but I don't really care for any of them like that.

Like, you know, had you heard about it beforehand? What stuck out to you about it then? And was there anything about it that stuck out to you now that didn't before it?
3:11
Yeah.
3:12
So I wasn't like a big movie person.
3:15
I don't watch a lot of movies or watch a lot of TV.
3:17
Like I just be making music most of the time or, you know, I'll be hanging out with my kids.
3:22
I got a lot of shit going on.
3:23
So like I don't really have to.

That's how you would start a movie in the 70s, 80s, very Hot Rods to Hell, James Dean type shit.
