My name is Tate Shaw, as Ben had hit on, and I grew up in the Chicagoland suburbs and went to Hoffman Estates High School.

And then while I was in high school, moved to the Palatine area, which is where I currently am.

Main reason for going to the University of Illinois, I knew I wanted to kind of be in the Midwest, close enough to family, but still far enough to where I can kind of be independent and my parents aren't.
