hello so I mean yeah I've touched on it baker and author and obviously bake author we should say you your book is about baking where did that come about where did the book come from
0:40
um it's interesting it's sort of the book is representative of the sort of the mix of things that I do on Instagram and TikTok and what I'm I'm sort of known for I would say two things and they're sort of completely opposite ends of the baking spectrum.

So I do a lot of really dumb, stupid, fun, hacky bakes, like the one that I posted last week, which is actually from the book.

And that's the catfish millionaire shortbread, where it's bash up some shortbread biscuits, heat them, melt a caramel chocolate bar on top.
1:17
So very accessible, fun, throwaway sort of bakes.

But I'm also known for really quiet, anaraki tutorials on how to make choux pastry or how to make caramel or you know how to temper chocolate so what the book actually does is it brings all those things together so you can do the very simple hacky fun bakes if you've only got say 15 minutes because it's all based on time frames the book it's called bake your sweet time so it's kind of if you've only got 10 to 15 minutes to make something you can have a quick fun hacky bake if you've got a couple of hours you can go a bit deeper and do a more standard bake.
1:55
Or if you've got all day and you want spend it baking, you can do like a three to four hour bake with all the hoopla, all the whistles and bells and things like that.
