What would you like our audience to know about what you saw there?
61:36
I think there are two things to really convey to your audience, probably one of which they know, one of which they don't realize.
61:43
The first one is that not much has changed in terms of Israeli depravity and Israeli cruelty.
61:49
That is more or less marching in the same direction.
61:54
One of the things that really jarred me is that the murders continue, the shootings continue, so the Israelis are still shooting into tents, from the areas, what are called the yellow line.
62:05
The yellow line is still progressing.
62:07
So when I had left, it had reached a certain point.

7 MINS LATER

69:07
What are you hearing on that front from a medical perspective?
36:02
Um, w- if you could just give people a sense of what it l- smells like, what it looks like, what it's like to be in the Gaza Strip right now.
36:12
now.Yeah. I've watched the yellow line crawl over the days since I got here.
36:19
I've now been here three months, and when I first got here, there's a very main highway called Salah al-Din Street that separates-- that was considered to kind of be, uh, a hundred or even two hundred meters away from the yellow line.
36:32
And our bus to the hospital, you know, people from GLIA ride on the Ministry of Health buses as an act of solidarity and protection for our colleagues.
36:43
And our bus from, from GLIA's hub, our center, to, uh, the hospital takes Salah al-Din Street.
36:49
And as time has gone on, we've had to turn off of Salah al-Din Street sooner and sooner.
36:54
There are also these yellow bricks that are by the road, and we've seen them advance, you know, half meter, meter ev-every day until finally they reach Salah al-Din Street.

5 MINS LATER

42:04
Are those tactics still, um, still being deployed, uh, by the IDF? What are you seeing in terms of their kind of the games that they've been playing?
16:08
The-- when, when you, you talk about the starvation, can you explain from your perspective as a physician, um, what starvation does to the human body, especially once you get to a certain point where it's difficult to reverse it, even if nutrition was gonna be provided immediately?
16:32
Yeah.
16:33
You know, I've, I've had a good look on starvation for quite a while.
16:38
Um, I myself have been on several hunger strikes, especially when I've been previously jailed.
16:44
I've followed people on hunger strikes.
16:46
I've seen people in famines.
16:48
And this true, and of course in Palestine, Palestine has been the subject of restriction of food for many years.

19 MINS LATER

35:38
Can you speak a little bit about h- uh, p-pregnancies and, uh, what life is like for the creation of life, uh, in the Gaza Strip amongst these horrific, uh, conditions?
30:50
D- when, when you, you talk about the starvation, can you explain from your perspective as a physician, um, what starvation does to the human body? Especially once you get to a certain point where it's difficult to reverse it even if nutrition was gonna be provided immediately?
31:13
Yeah.
31:16
You know, I've, I've had a good look on starvation for quite a while.
31:22
Um, I myself have been on several hunger strikes, especially when I had been previously jailed.
31:27
I've followed people on hunger strikes, I've seen people in famines.
31:32
And this true... and of course in Palestine, Palestine has been the subject of restriction of food for many years.
31:41
Dov Weissglass in, I think it was 2007, uh, was an advisor to then Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and started what he called The Gaza Diet, which was a caloric restriction program that made sure that Palestinians didn't have enough literal calories.

18 MINS LATER

50:22
Can you speak a little bit about ho- uh, pregnancies and, uh, what life is like for the creation of life, uh, in the Gaza Strip amongst these horrific, uh, conditions?
19:23
Can you talk about the injuries you're seeing as a result of people lining up to get aid from the so-called Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, GHF, that shadowy Israeli U.S. so-called aid organization that so many international aid organizations have condemned? Talk about what you've seen there and the AP investigation releasing video showing the opening fire on the aid seekers.
19:54
There was no surprise to me when I saw the AP video.
19:58
It was exactly what patients and Palestinians have been telling me and have been telling us for the past month and a half.
20:05
Since GHF really started operating, almost immediately when they started operating, they started massacring civilians.
20:12
The injury patterns, there are two major injury types.
20:15
One of them is sniper style shots.
20:18
People who are shot very clear, deliberately in the head, especially or in some other part of the body like the groin.

7 MINS LATER

27:30
And talk about this procession of humanity south.
