Where are we?
33:41
So, the thing that is funny about this jobs report is that people were just kind of happy to get anything and to know that the economy wasn't crumbling before the shutdown, because we really feel like there is probably going to be some contraction that is going to come out during the 36-day shutdown.
33:56
There was a lot happening during that time.
33:58
So, for right now, it-it kind of feels like, for many economists, like September feels like so long ago.
34:03
So, you're taking this with a grain of salt.
34:07
You are pleased to know, like, the economy was doing sort of okay with the labor market specifically.
34:12
But you're also looking forward to the December reports and November data, and you're unsure what that is going to say.
37:30
What advice do you have?
21:39
What, what, what do you, what do you think?
21:41
I can see younger generations being upset right now, period, based on having a lot of economic insecurity.
21:51
That I can understand.
21:53
The idea that the Israeli lobby just came...
21:59
I just have not ...
22:00
It's, it's such like an online talking point that we have now spread out into everything because it used to be a very far left issue when it came to Israel and Palestine and the entire ongoing war, and it was never something that conservatives were ever...
22:19
If anything, they were so in- insomnophobic, they were happy to like... (laughs) So I, I'm just like very...

How many starter family homes do you think BlackRock should be allowed to buy? And how many Airbnbs do you think one person should be allowed to own in a city that's having a housing issue? Like, this is another where-do-we-draw-the-line question, is like, I get the thing on the vacancy rates and everything, but we, you, you do, you, it's worth noting that stuff like Airbnb and stuff like, uh, giant corporations buying out all of these homes and, like, bidding against single mothers for houses, um, that seems like one of the too far examples, right?
14:07
Mm-hmm.
14:09
Um, I think there was some story that came out, like, a bit ago where they stated some insane statistic on, like, how many hous- like, houses, like, BlackRock actually owned, and it was, like, a shocking number.
14:21
I believe it, like, was published in the Jacobin.
14:23
And if they actually owned th- that amount of houses, I'm like, wow, that would be terrible.
14:26
And then they realized that the number was fabricated and it was much lower.
14:31
So the idea of, like, how many housi- like, houses, unit that BlackRock owns is much smaller than we think it to be.
